"What
could I do King Agrippa? I couldn’t walk away from a vision
like that!”
Acts 26:19
In this scripture Paul is telling his testimony to the King,
in hope that the King will grant him freedom from jail.
Paul is saying there is no way he can walk away from the
change that Jesus has done in his life.
As we journey together in Operation Transformation, we can
paraphrase the scripture. In place of King Agrippa we can
put Gethsemane and say “What could we do, Gethsemane? We
can’t walk away from a vision like this!” We, as one body
in Christ have to serve (work), pray, encourage, love and
sacrifice together no matter the cost or trials that come
our way. We want to persuade others to see the gifts God
has given us as a body. There are souls that are in need of
salvation and a right relationship with God through Jesus
Christ. Our prayer is that you will not walk away from the
vision that God gave Pastor Riddick for Gethsemane.
Prayer Focus:
Dear gracious and all wise God, we need Your strength and
your power to do what you have entrusted in our care, not
just the building that You are going to build through Your
people God, but the city that You have given us. The task
seems great, but we know all things are possible through
you. God, we ask that you keep us on one accord through
prayer. We realize that there will be sacrifices that we
will have to make. Our prayer is that you will meet all of
our needs according to your riches in glory. We pray for
Pastor and First Lady Riddick. We pray that you will keep
them strong and encouraged as they minister to your people.
We pray for all the people that you will be bringing into
your kingdom.
This in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
